  • I’m about to purchase the ATP Atelier Doris slide on The Line’s web site. I bought the ones by Isabel Marant from Matches, but returned them. They’re pretty, but the wood sole is really heavy and doesn’t have the support that the good old Dr. Scholl’s did. I also think they’d be noisy and your legs would be exhausted after a while. Has anyone taken these for a test spin?

  • Slides are definitely work to walk in! Best for short distances.

  • When she retired from modelling she owned and worked the front desk at an inn in Penzence England. I stopped in to see that beautiful face 30 years ago while on vacation.
She was wearing jeans, a t shirt, her hair in a bun wrapped in a scarf and no makeup.

She looked so happy and unassuming, middle aged like us all, but oh that face.

  • It seems a lifetime ago when models were ‘just models’ and didn’t have the whole celebrity goddesse thing going . . . she was a charmer!
I love the casual nonchalance of slides ~
