Now Playing

There are two movies that I’m dying to see this weekend—‘A Bigger Splash’, for the Dior wardrobe, and ‘Love & Friendship’, because I adore Whit Stillman’s films.  Woody Allen’s ‘Café Society’ will be out in July.

  • A Bigger Splash is definitely worth seeing for those Raf Simons creations which are simultaneously elegant, glamorous and effortless – at least as worn by the fabulous Tilda Swinton. The film is also well worth seeing for the performances . All four of the lead actors are extremely good.

  • I saw Cafe Society last week and loved it. I also saw A Bigger Splash and thought that it was fantastic. I was a bit worried about a remake of La Piscine, an iconic French film but it was well done. Ralph Fiennes stole the show!

  • I’ve seen A Bigger Splash and Love and Friendship. Both wonderful. Tilda’s Swinton’s wardrobe, accessories, etc. are so fabulous, that I’m sort of obsessed….hunting down “versions”. Love and Friendship was fun, full of great laughs too.

  • A Bigger Splash – yes! Cafe Society – I won’t support a film by a child molester. Sorry.
