‘Winter Is Coming’

It’s hot and oppressively humid today— as I leaf  through a number of the September issues, I’m trying to wrap my head around winter wear. This story from Harper’s Bazaar inspired me to book a ski trip at Christmas—love the retro, Slim Aarons feel of these images.

  • These hand-painted English bone china dishes replicate the photo above! (Gave them to our daughter for Christmas last year – pure white china, which is unusual).

  • Yummy yellow. Wonder who does that sweater? On a summer note: did you catch By Malene Birger’s spring collection for 2017 yesterday. Just wonderful – LA meets Scandinavia!
