Mix & Match

At times, I tend to get a bit too matchy-matchy. This Copenhagen Fashion Week attendee’s look inspires me to mix it up—the gingham is kind of a neutral.

  • I love gingham, so fresh. I’m actually liking it and subtle plaids right now, more than stripes, which I’m getting a bit tired of.

  • This look is so carefree yet so pulled together.

  • I picked up a navy/white gingham check shirt dress at Paul Stuart last summer (not exactly the fashion capitol), and I must say, I have thrown it on with a pair of sandals, lipstick, and suntan legs to run off to the store or a lunch date, and it is crisp, shirtwaist trim, and the fine cotton feels divine in the summer. It has white collar & cuffs, buttons up the front. Self tie belt to accentuate a trim waist (which you know I happen to value more than expensive shoes!). LOL! : )))
