‘Figure Study’

After seeing this picture in September British Vogue, I put a pair of knee-high boots on my fall list.  Booties have been the major story the past few years; to-the-knee looks fresh, again.

I want to try these

  • Living in Chicago, boot season lasts a long time. I have my Jimmy Choo Brody’s and this year would love an ankle boot with a chunky heel maybe in suede or velvet. Several years ago, I scored big time in the Saks post-T’giving sale and came across a pair of knee-high chocolate suede Ferragamo’s and a pair of knee-high Tod’s with a higher heel. Love them both and will wear them until they fall apart.

  • I bought a pair of knee high black Chloe boots last season. I wore them more than I thought I would, even under jeans on cooler day. I love the look and those new Chloe’s are fabulous.

  • I have always loved that look and am quite happy to see it return. I have never appreciated the gap between the coat and the top of a boot. It also seemed rather impractical weather wise, too. As I live in California, I can only imagine these things….
