Tunic Time

I’ve owned these The Row dresses for years and wear them as tunics over white or black jeans. But jeans are not ideal, especially when worn with a belt. I had an ‘aha’ moment when I spied these The Row leggings—problem solved.

  • For me, I don’t find these pieces inspiring because they don’t channel the western woman’s individuality, beauty, or femininity. I’m sure they are meant to be basic pieces to work into the overall wardrobe, but I can’t get enthused about any ensemble that appears to be an indistinguishable uniform for the masses.

  • I’ve been comparing high quality leggeings this week – of the many options THE ROW offers, did either the Franklin stetcgbwool or the Relma stretch scuba appeal to you or did you opt for another style?

  • I have the two in the post coming in, I’ll let you know.

  • You might also like the merino wool leggings by Ibex. Since we moved to VT I live in them. Not high fashion – but fabulously warm, easy to layer and they wear incredibly well. The woolies 1 and Izzi legging in black are my uniform.
