Mary-Kate's clogs & Chanel's clogs

As is often the case with fashion which cycles around and around, I am considering buying shoes that I wore a lifetime ago. As much as I love them, I cannot see myself picking up my girls from school in the ones Mary-Kate is wearing or the high heeled version from Chanel. Instead, I have ordered preppy monogrammed clogs in navy wool and butterscotch leather that I will wear with jeans and shorts. Good thing I don’t live in an apartment with a crabby downstairs neighbor anymore! Will anyone over 40 wear these?
