You will never see me in red jeans- nor pink, peach, baby blue or any other colorful denim. However, eggshell and very pale yellow appeal to my neutrals-only sensibility. Paired with a grey top and my fave new Supergas, this look would take me from the school-run to a meeting and beyond.

I love everything about the look above, I wish i could distill my look as well as you do, I can be a little bit all over the place.
Such a classic, chic and yet modern look. This is my favourite post so far as inspiration on how to look stylish on an everyday basis is very much needed.
Love this look. ‘Run-around chic’ is my signature style – though I’m not quite as slick as this & have been known to wear brightly coloured jeans and chinos.
i agree. my white superga’s are on route. really like your suggestion of eggshell and pale yellow.
Ladies, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this post. Can we please have more ‘Run-around-chic’ inspiration. I have a wardrobe of glamorous clothes (for my life before kids) and now rarely get to wear any of my beautiful pieces. I have never had to many casual clothes, always beautiful yet impractical work wardrobe, and would love ideas on how to look stylish and chic doing the school runs each day (Semi affordable options would also be great).
Love your blog. x
