Frances Ha

Now that my older daughter is home from boarding school, I will drag her to see a long list of independent films. At the top is “Frances Ha”. I first saw Greta Gerwig in “Damsels in Distress”, and it looks like she plays an equally quirky character in this film.

  • I’ve seen this film and thought it was hysterical. Hope that you and your daughter enjoy your time together.

  • You will not regret watching this film. As a mom to a young toddler I don’t get to go out to the actual movies very often, but I made an exception for Ms. Gerwig. We happened to go to a showing that her parents and family friends attended in Sacramento. It is real, raw, hysterical, sad yet hopeful and very much filled with love.
