Just Be COS

My current mission is to check out the COS pop-up shop in Opening Ceremony. Only available in Europe until now, I suspect that I will fall madly in love with the the cashmere sweaters, and their price point too. The grey one below is like a siren song.

  • Cos is great bit their sizing can be erratic so one must always try the stuff on but they are a great staple.

  • There’s been so much excitement about Cos coming to the US, but since I’m not in NYC and can’t get to Opening Ceremony, I’m wondering what creates this vibe around their clothes? How does their stuff compare to say J.Crew or other stores at this price point?

  • I hope they open stores in the rest of US. Years ago that I lived in Denmark for a short period of time, I shopped at COS, and their vibe was more like Club Monaco.

  • Went yesterday , it’s in my neighborhood…only us 6-10 left. Runs very large. Think stella. Agreed..like club monaco. The salespeople are not well versed in what is happening regarding restock.

  • Cos is brilliant – you’ll love it.

    That's Not My AgeOctober 16th, 2013  3:34 PM

  • I can’t wait to read you review about it! The sweater makes me want the cold weather to rush in.

  • I may wait and go to the real deal in London, maybe That’s Not My Age will join me…

  • Now if you do get together with TNMA, there must be a picture posted of the two of you!

  • Chunky sweaters are great , although COS style has become too shapeless in the last couple of seasons. If your in london try &otherstories (another H&M brand) – v. stylish easy to wear clothing and accessories are excellent – many 40 year OLD plus++ are favouring this brand over COS at the moment.

  • I have quite a few items from COS and I’m happy with some and disappointed with others, especially knitwear that i find starts to pill after only a few times. And COS do run very large.

  • COS is incredible! I realize it is not everyone’s cup of tea. Very Scandinavian…reminds me of less pricey Marimekko. They have adorable kids clothes too. I bought a few items while in Munich. Agree that sizing is off…really depends on the item style, since many items are supposed to appear big and slouchy.
