Although I don’t go to every opening, preview, or screening, I like to think that I have my finger on the cooler cultural pulse. However, when my uber in-the-know friend texted an invitation to help her stalk Banksy, my response “huh?” sadly revealed my cultural shortcomings.
Banksy, the famed British street artist, has been beautifying our five boroughs with his daily creations during the month of October. The project, entitled “Better Out Than In”, is chronicled on banksyny, and a map revealing the location of each work was in the New York Times.
Today is the last day of Banksy’s NYC “residency” and I am excited to see his farewell piece.
