Pale Pink

© WSJ. magazine

Until recently, pale pink accessories did not appeal to me. A few weeks ago I bought a pair of Chloé flats in a beige-y nude, however, in the sunlight they are really a pale pink. At first, this was a bit of a disappointment, so I put them aside to be returned. One morning I decided to try them with all black for a meeting, and I have been living in them ever since.

Clean Sweep in the WSJ. magazine makes pink more than just appealing, it’s the color to covet.

  • I read somewhere recently that “blush” is trending. I think that is the pale pink you speak of. Worn as a neutral, I love it.

  • Always one of my favorite combinations! I also adore grey with a pale pink !

  • I just saw your post immediately after this. Had to laugh, perhaps my subconscious read it as I scrolled down and that is where I “recently” read of pink trending. Sounds like you had a great weekend.

  • Pink with black and white is a beautiful, timeless combination. I bought two pairs of pinky beige shoes at the end of the summer, and was going to put them away until spring…however, after reading this, I have put them back in my wardrobe.

Grey with pale pink is beautiful as well.
