  • It has been my go to for 10 years. Can’t live without it. Lips, nails, just a touch after makeup for a glow. And an overnight treat once a week.
    Just the best……

  • this is the world’s best skin protection cream. I buy it in multi-packs and large tatubs whenever I go to Europe. there is also a version with an SPF if you can find it.

  • This is the best! I remember as a little girl seeing it is my mother’s cabinet and then eventually taking it as mine! There is nothing like it!

PS. continue to love your blog!

  • I adore it and am a TOTAL addict, until a friend gave me a new one to try last week: Josie Maran Argan Intensity, which is the same idea as the Eight Hour Cream but without the petroleum, which is not so great for you. Since I’m trying to be healthier, I’m giviing it a whirl and loving it! Not trying to mess with a cult classic, but wanted to share, because I’m super impressed with this new helthy version!

  • In our family this is known as Grammy’s Magic Cream!

  • Margeau,
Do you mean Josie Maran Argan Infinity? Can’t find Intensity. Thanks.

  • Because of my leukemia, and always wanting to go natural, I actually started making my own!! Simple ingredients and amazingly easy to make! Friends have asked me to make it for them! Skin feels delicious and soft and wonderfully radiant!
Also have always loved Elizabeth Arden , but so happy I found another option as well! Blessings for you and your family, Preston!

  • Great post! A huge thank you to Margeau for suggesting the Josie Maran’s cream as an organic alternative. It was a life saver during my Christmas Holiday in cold, dry Boston! Thank you Preston for your fantastic blog, and for inspiring this great dialogue among your readers! Happy New Year to all!!
