Fringe Benefits
One of my favorite trends for spring is fringe. But a little goes a long way, so I will do either a bag or a shoe. Since the Valentino sandals are similar to my Isabel Marant pair from last year, I’m leaning toward a clutch, or a small fringed crossbody bag would be fun. TBC.
Hard to believe that despite the price tag on the Pucci poncho, it’s already almost sold out.
Pucci top, The Row clutch, Valentino sandal, Valentino bag.

What's New
I already have a pair of ankle boots with fringe…but I have to say this is one trend that doesn’t thrill me. In my opinion, that poncho is horrid.
I LOVE the clutch but then I love everything from The Row !
I don’t think I own anything with a fringe. Always subject to change but I don’t see this trend making it to my closet. I can’t believe how expensive that poncho is!
That Pucci poncho is $8k – I paid less money for my first car!
It’s lovely though – but not 8k lovely 🙁
Love the blog Preston. I’m looking forward to many more great suggestions in 2014
Hummm…fringe. It makes me think of old Western leather jackets and cowboys. Maybe that’s just my western sensibility talking. I think I’ll pass.
my daughter, who is a young mother of a toddler and is now pregnant, is back in nyc for two years after leaving in Roma for 3 years. she was a lawyer at the united nations and her husband a lawyer with an American firm. needless to say she had a great time buying clothes in roma, paris, and london. but her favorite place turned out to be amsterdam. my daughter bought a black leather scrug-like jacket, all woven very bottega venata. she wore it all over town with jeans or skirt to work and out on the town. it always look pretty cool. since being back home in nyc she hasn’t taken it out once for a walk around town. now nearly 4 years after purchase the look has made it to our shores. well she is happy to wear it again.
kudos to you Preston for the spotting of a trend. i haven’t seen anyone else notice it.
