Touseled

Natasha Poly’s touseled hair, courtesy of James Pecis from the March issue of Vogue Paris, is on my radar. Not sure I’m ready for bangs.

  • I do love the look, it’s very sexy, however; would I sport this look, it’s my hair every morning when I wake up before I get it fixed, maybe on weekends or for a night out, but for my conservative office, it just looks sloppy and unkept.

  • I agree with Amee’s comment. This can be a very nice look in certain situations, but it isn’t polished and looks unfinished. I can’t see it complimenting a wide variety of looks or being a “regular” look for a stylish woman, unless bohemian is her only look.

  • Oh the hardest part (sorry can’t seem to help myself) about artfully disarrayed bangs is that the minute you step outside they wing away to either side of your forehead and you fidget with them like a 12 year old.
    Love the coat.

  • As we lovely ladies age, the fun waves begin to look like granny waves! My hair was like this when I was younger. Now I have to make my own with smoother, irons, and dryers! Ahh the lucky youth!

  • I know long hair is a fashion fav, but for those of us with short hair, it is also fun to have this look…I go back and forth between tousled and more subdued….love them both!

  • I agree with Sue M and love the phrase ‘artfully disarrayed.’ Undone looks rarely happen by accident. But the model above looks fabulous! My daughter briefly had a college roommate who spent at least an hour every morning fixing her ‘naturally tousled, wildly wavy, wind-swept, au natural hair.’ It was like a 12-step program!
