Veruschka: From Vera to Veruschka

Before she worked with Avedon, or was the iconic face of the Blow-Up 60sVeruschka, née Vera von Lehndorff, was an art student from East Prussia. She became the legendary model after working with the late photographer Jonny Moncada early in her career. They did thousands of pictures together, most sealed in a trunk for the past 40 years. Now, Moncada’s daughter has published many of the images in Veruschka: From Vera to Veruschka (Rizzoli).
