“The Royal Tenenbaums”

Untitled-00302014

I have Wes Anderson on the brain. There’s a wonderful piece in yesterday’s NYT’s on his new movie, “The Grand Budapest Hotel”, which opens Friday. But what really got me going down the nostalgic Andersonian rabbit hole are these vintage inspired sneakers and tote by Gucci– so completely “The Royal Tenenbaums”, one of my favorite films.

sneakers & tote.

  • Great tip about The Royal Budapest Hotel, since I will be visiting Budapest this summer. Thank you!

  • Had the same Royal Tennenbaum’s thoughts when I saw both pieces on NAP. I love that film so much, that I was almost tempted to get one of them, but think it’d probably work best on someone young? Any thoughts? Looking forward to Friday’s opening.

  • The Royal Tennenbaums was one of my all time favourite movies as well. Thanks for telling me about the new movie.

  • Excited for the new movie, Gwyneth’s gorgeous gloominess is just one of the many reasons Tenenbaums is one of my all time favorites (not to mention all the rad styling on all of the actors)
