It Item

Shopping Trip

While cruising the stores last week, I snapped a few pics of items I’m considering.

As much as I covet the Céline resort collection coat Anya’s wearing, the image reminded me that I gave my black 3.1 Phillip Lim clutch to my older daughter (I know Anya’s holding a book, it made me think of my lack of a clutch). At Barneys, I found a gorgeous replacement by Nina Ricci — the gold band makes it super chic. And I still need a block-heeled shoe for two graduations, I’m leaning toward the Tabitha Simmons sandals. The Chloé scalloped pumps are good too, but more for meetings, etc. I put this capelet by The Row on my spring wish list, but I’m not sure if I would wear it. TBC.

  • Love the sandals. Just curious, why do you require a block-healed shoe? Standing on grass?

  • Yep, lot’s of lawn events. Nothing looks sillier than a woman navigating grass in spike heels…
