Easy Breezy

I’ve been following my friend, fellow blogger Heather Clawson, the author of Habitually Chic, as she gets ready for four months in Paris (jealous!!!).  My favorite recent HC post is on what she plans to pack.  Along with a trench, scarf , and clutch, she’s taking a pair of Emerson Fry loafers. This is a name Heather’s mentioned a number of times, but this time, I took notice.

Emerson and her husband Ryan are based in NH where they design the EF line which is “focused on modern clean, versatile, long-wearing pieces”. Simple designs + high quality + a good price point = a great find. Easy and laid-back, these are the perfect run-around  staples.

Thanks for the tip Heather, and have a great trip!

  • Thanks for the shout out Preston! Glad you like Emerson Fry as much as me! I just dropped my loafers off at the cobbler for rubber soles so they’ll be ready for the Paris rain.

  • Im a West Coast Girl. I have ordered from EF for the last couple of years. Sadly, I find the fit a bit boxy, but It doesn’t stop me from placing an order every season. I usually end up returning do to fit. Im curious if Preston finds the clothes wearable. Love to see some shots of her in them. The looks EF puts out every season are undeniably CHIC! Desperate for Emerson’s clothes to look good on ME!

  • I LOVE the slides shown above! I have heard of EF a number of times over the past few years on various fashion blogs, etc. A husband/wife team, I believe. Very clean, modern, simple styles.

  • Just received my first order today and I will definitely be back to do more shopping. The quality it amazing!

  • I received my order yesterday and I’m so disappointed. I ordered the dress, skirt and slouchy jeans and they are all going back. I agree with N Dennon these pieces were unwearable. The fabric was so stiff and uncomfortable. I also found it very thick for the west coast. While it might have softened up after washing I couldn’t take the chance. Great design, but please use softer fabric.
