  • Loved that they used older models!!!!! ….. just because we aren’t 30/40 somethings doesn’t mean we aren’t stylish!!! 🙂 Kudos for their insight! Love the looks!

  • The Olsens have tapped into an aesthetic that is appealing to a wide range of women. There is something for everyone in their collection…modern, classic, tailored, or bohemian pieces…each on a level of luxury that makes them collectible. I posted on their gorgeous store opening on Tuesday and am excited to visit this weekend and see the space. And, I’m thrilled they will be offering shoes!

  • By focusing long term, on women of all ages, they have cultivated a market who will invest in their high quality apparel and wear pieces for many years.

  • the portrait where one is in loafer/brogues and the other, heels, it struck me: mary-kate and ashley olsen are the new carla and franca sozzani! chic, chic, timeless chic, with a twist. l o v e.

  • Their decision to use over-40 models was genius. I admire their understanding that these sophisticated (and expensive) pieces of clothing are actually better on a mature woman than a 20/30-year old. I frequently remind my daughter not to dress older than her age and that super-expensive pieces look silly on a young woman–sort of bogs down her youthful beauty–there is a time for everything. Appropriateness is everything.

  • That’s not an older model. It’s Linda Rodin. She’s a stylist and behind RODIN skincare products. Her face oil being a fav of many.
