In Vest

It’s been years since I’ve considered a vest. But these longer ones are appealing (imagine a thick, cabled, turtleneck sweater tucked underneath). Belted is best. I wonder if the vest is a trend.

  • The Isabel Marant belted vest is fabulous. I’d definitely wear it!

  • I’ve never been a fan, but the VB one is nice, so sleek and clean. Would actually be a good layering piece in Los Angeles.

  • I bought a Tom Maier a few years ago and found at 5’5 I wasn’t tall enough to pull it off. I love the look, just not for me.

  • Not a fan of the vest; unless you’re a knight and the vest is a shimmery metal one, I think very, very few women can pull it off… http://madelienerose.com/

  • For some reason, a lot of over-50 women who run art galleries or who are in politics wear this look. it is much cuter on the willowy, young models above!
