  • Wolford!

  • Is there any other but Wolford?

    MonixOctober 21st, 2014  5:25 PM

  • Wolford top my list. I do like Spanx tights if wearing with booties/boots. Zippers always seem to ruin my tights.

  • Falke is the best! Great socks too!

  • Not to belabor the point, but Wolford, Wolford, Wolford . . .

I have black opaque tights dating back years (yes, it’s true, not pilled or snagged), and they are machine washable (delicate, mesh bag) and always look perfect. They also make perfect leggings, both ankle length and capri. Just wore some today with an oversized sweater–

  • The colour on the Wolford fades easliy after washing, Fogal are great but not that confy around the belly. You should try the Falke Seidenglatt 70 (subtle shimmer effect which makes faboosh legs but opaque enough) or the classic Pure Matt 100.

  • Pure + Good tights from Anthropologie are very opague, durable, and affordable! Will only wear this kind since discovering

  • I agree with everyone about the quality of Wolford tights but I also have an opaque Donna Karan pair (very high denier, 90 or 100) that have lasted years. I even throw them in the machine now without the lingerie bag (I know!) and they look/feel as good as the day I bought them. I do like Falke as well.

  • Wolford Velvet Deluxe. They last for years and are super comfortable.

    AnnOctober 22nd, 2014  9:38 AM

  • a less expensive option for those of us who snag tights easily are the DKNY super opaque control top tight.

    cindalaOctober 22nd, 2014  8:29 PM

    That's Not My AgeOctober 23rd, 2014  12:52 PM
