Warm-Weather Wear

Saint Laurent, Cartier

Honestly, I’ve been so focused on getting through this week, I haven’t thought about going away after the holidays. Also, it hasn’t been that cold and we haven’t had any snow. I may ask my husband to find us someplace warm to go last minute. And if we do get away, this is what I want to wear.

Funny, after I gave away a few of my classic Chanel bags, I was thinking that next year I would gift some of my Hermès Trims. But, I like this this Saint Laurent hobo which is so much like a Trim that I may hold on to them for a bit longer.

Cartier celebrated the 100th anniversary of its Panther this year and a pendant would be super chic.

  • Hope you had a lovely Christmas. How can you think of giving up your Trims?? They are irreplaceable! Mine are my favorite bags in the world and I use them all the time and I devoutly wish Hermes would bring the style back. (I agree with you – I like the Saint Laurent one, but (a) couldn’t they have changed the details a tiny bit? it is such a copy and (b) I wish they’d make it with a gusset like the Trim II, which is so much more practical.)

  • I love the style of the Trim, but find them too small and limited. LOVE the Céline hobo–bigger and has a crossbody strap. However, I don’t love the new Céline hobo with a zip-top closure, ruins the underarm of my sweaters and jackets. I’ve been buying up the older ones…
