‘Manhattan Transfer’
You’d have to be living under a rock to not know that ’70s-style has come roaring back. I’m not complaining because it’s one of the best fashion eras to mine for inspiration. This story, from the February issue of Vogue Paris, is a good example of how to wear all the suede, trenches, and silver jewelry that are so popular now. The Native American Indian pieces are particularly good. I’m going to raid my mother’s jewelry box, again.

Good thing I saved a lot of my 70s stuff!
Evidently I do live under a rock, just sold a beautiful concha belt, and gave my daughter the rest of my American Indian jewelry. Hmmmm….no wonder she wanted it.
The 70s are so your style !! Love the styling here, very modern, and not too ‘cliché’ !

I’m definitely getting a Klute vibe. Love this.
I like all of it
love it! I love the 70s and Géraldine Saglio is one of my favourite stylists. Hands down!
If only the 70’s actually looked this good! This is a much better version! : )
Native American silver has been a perennial staple in my wardrobe for a very long time – love that it’s “on trend”, again!
Love all these looks! I’m wearing my longest coats this Winter sometimes with A line skirts and knee boots as standard. I would love to add a suede skirt to wear with all my silk shirts going into Spring. For me the 70’s era is a reference point plus the 40’s (mostly for the tailoring) which I think is where it came from anyway.
Love the 70’s! The brown is a nice change from black and looks more current and I LOVE her hair the shag is great! Reminds me of the Gucci ads!
Agree with Paula! I lived through this era, and this time around it is a much more polished, edited look. I also noticed all the brown–earth tones were very popular then. So glad, because black can look harsh as we age.
I so live this look! She’s so chic..slender..mysterious.
