Ahoy!

Isabel Marant

The rope belt is big for spring and an easy nod to the nautical trend. I like it best when cinching a loose dress.

Belt by Isabel Marant.

  • Love this , might have to get that dress! Hopefully I won’t drown in it (no pun intended! )

  • Wish I saw this post before I returned this dress! I was swimming in it. If I had know about this belt, problem would have been solved.

  • Saw this on NAP this morning and had to laugh. Love Isabel Marant and have no issue paying full price for her garments. However, $70 for a yard of sailing rope? Plan on buying two yards of this cotton rope, unwinding a few plys and making a bound Chinese knot on end. With shipping and handling, under $10. http://www.knotandrope.com/Store/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=132&idcategory=6#.VOdbfYY8KrU

  • P.S. please note that rope is sold in feet, not yards, need to adjust accordingly.

  • I like the idea, but have a feeling it’s a touch too thick?

  • Memories! I remember wearing this as a belt in the 1970’s.
