  • I LOVE those. Ironically I was looking back through the Celine ballet comments and saw Agnes’s recommendation. I meant to look them up and here they are! ( I admit in that short period of time I had already forgotten).

  • My mom has a few pairs just like these from the early 90’s or so, I can’t discern any updates to the shoe shape that make hers look vintage. For the longest time her shoes seemed so dated and frumpy to me, and now this style looks fresh and modern. Funny how that goes.

  • I love these, and the slides are really good too. I’ve wanted to go to the store for a long time – maybe this trip to NY, I’ll finally make it there.

  • Oh yes, without a doubt, so ‘you’ !!

  • I have been dying to buy these but I live in London and can’t try them on before buying. I would love to know if they fit true to size, length and width. Thank you.

  • I am echoing MMS. Living in France I would also appreciate some info on their size and width before buying them.

  • I can’t remember where online I was when I came upon her shoes and just loved them, especially these. Now, which color?

  • These remind me (in a good way) of Robert Clergerie shoes from a while ago, maybe 10 or 15 years…Used to wear them then, and may try this style again.

  • I’m afraid I don’t see the attraction. They kind of have an Old Maine Trotters feel to me!

    bisbeeApril 9th, 2015  9:54 AM

  • Oh, boy. Am I ever in trouble. I just went to her site and found about 20 items I want. So much to choose from. Simple, smart and chic. Thanks for sharing!

  • Charming! The heel height seems ideal.

  • I imagine in my head that every season designers get together and draw straws. The one who draws the short straw is required to design something so ridiculously awful that no one in their right mind would buy it. They do it to test that theory that if you put a designer name on something it flies off the shelves despite the fact it is unattractive, unflattering and unimaginative. These shoes must be what was decided upon this season. I know some will love them. I think they’re awful!

    SunnyApril 10th, 2015  10:39 AM

  • Thank you Sunny! I thought I was the only one. My grandmother used to wear these shoes, and they were ugly then. Still ugly now.

  • I love these but worried about how my size 41 narrow foot will look in them. I’m thinking not good.

  • I ordered a pair of these online in chalk (pale grey). That was all I could find in my size. To answer the sizing question for all of us “foreigners” who worry about ordering the wrong size online and having to go through a complicated and expensive return process. These run small! I am a US 9, but wear a39.5 or 40 in Europeam sizing). I am most often a 39.5. I ordered the 40 because I could not find a 39.5 anywhere. The 40 just fits comfortably. I have a wide foot, but the length is pretty good. They are very comfortable and chic. Not nearly as “now” as the CELINE ballerina pump but because of the soft suede and styling these will look great with jeans or skirts and dresses.
