On My Mind

Made With Love

My clever daughter makes me the best cards for Mother’s Day, I’ve kept them all. We have a homemade-presents-only rule and I don’t expect anything from my husband, I’m not his mother. Lobster rolls and a long walk are all we’ve planned for today.

Happy Mother’s Day everyone!

  • Sounds like the Perfect Mothers Day! I love that rule only home made cards! There is something so wonderful, innocent and old fashioned about homemade cards. Homemade cards don’t have anything on this digital age! Try trump digital every time! Growing up in Maine and having lobster rolls is one of my fondest memories! What a leeway way to spend Mother’s Day with your homemade card and a lobster roll! Enjoy! Sounds perfecto!

  • Your daughter’s card is just lovely and I’m thrilled to see she included the Danish way of saying “I love you” = Jeg elsker dig. Scandinavians aren’t exactly known to express their feelings towards each other but when I read it just now I felt the power of the sentence. We should all love each other more 🙂 Please give my greetings to your daughter,

    Kindly,
