  • I wore my ecru IM poncho and Valentino tangos with jeans to dinner on Saturday – very much like that photo. I love a lot of the SR pieces and would love to have the taupe sandals (in the photo with the black dress) right now as well.

  • There is a lot to like here; however, for me, Resort ’16 is a lifetime away. I can’t spend my precious present looking at things I may or may not want to purchase for January, 2016. The fashion industry may have reached a tipping point–who cares about next January? My mind is on summer houseguests, Independence Day, and gardening. By time 2016 rolls around, I will have changed my sartorial priorities ten times any way.

  • I disagree…cruise is the best collection. It will be in stores long before January and has a much more limited run of sorts. This is where I find my special pieces that usually are quite seasonless and blend seamlessly into my wardrobe. They are often the best basics with just the right understated styling tweak. Also I find “cruise” a sweet antiquated leftover misnomer…its actually fun that its retained its name. You couldn’t pay me to take a cruise!

  • Paula I understand your point of view and it reflects the attitude of the fast paced world we are living now where we want everything now, now, now. Maybe this is the reason why fashion sticks to this method of doing things, to keep that rare feeling of longing, of the wait, that is not very present anymore…

  • The shoes are truly perfect, I love them as well ! The jeans look really cool, à la Vuitton 🙂 And I simply need the white poncho it looks luxurious and wearable !

  • I have always found joy in the planning process, maybe more than in the outcome. Besides, a great shoe or sweater doesn’t know a season label! I agree, these clothes are worthy of consideration.
