In Porter

A River View

I pride myself on not having house envy, but this story in the new issue of Porter is an exception. This custom houseboat, which is docked on the Seine in the middle of Paris, is home to shoe designer Laurence Dacade, her architect husband, and two teenage children. With a view of the Bois de Boulogne, my favorite park, and the modern, yet eclectic, interior, I am indeed envious.

  • It’s fantastic, but I’d have a hard time living there full time. Need a garden.

  • The boots she has on in the third pic, but mid-calf version, are on my fall wish list!

  • Hello Preston, I think spellcheck got the better of you. Her name is Laurence Dacade. I do enjoy your blog. Thanks!
