On My Mind

#lastdaysofsummer

We didn’t make it to Positano or London as planned, but we certainly were away a lot this summer. The highlight was sailing on the Vineyard with my family. We are off again this weekend, the last trip of summer 2015.

  • I miss sailing on the Vineyard so much, lobster roll and a glass of rose. Such a perfect summer day, especially if our grown children were with us.

  • What a beautiful picture!! My husband has a sailboat and he goes sailing to unwind! Although I am not an avid sailor I love being on the water it is so relaxing! Lucky you what a great place to have a sailboat!

  • So funny you say Positano and London. Once what now seems a hundred years ago, actually before 2 children, my husband and I did spend part of the summer in Positano swiimming every day and dinning on prawns every night and the end of the summer in London going to theatre every night. We ate at the Savoy or China town. I couldn’t get enough of lobster in garlic ginger sauce. Every year since then I keep thinking maybe this is the year for Positano and London. Well I’m thinking maybe next year! Thanks.

  • This is already our third week back at school. We will go to the beach for Labor Day and pretend summer is still in our grasp . . . while we do homework.
