It follows, I guess, that as clothing styles get bigger, fuller, and longer, hair styles also will. A return to the late 70’s and 80’s, disco era? I’m hoping it signifies a return to dressing up !
My chemo curls will be stylish!!!
I love natural curls, but not a fan of “done” curls. It’s glamorous in the photos, very Rita Hayworth, but I’ll be curious to see if it takes off in real life.
Coming from a long line of women who got their hair “set,” I love this look for so many reasons. It’s still a great look for special occasions, and I think it can be great to have “done” hair, natural makeup, and something with a defined waist. Avoid jumpsuits and culottes and you’ve got a look that isn’t also a period piece.
I have wavy, fine hair which I get blow dried every 4/5 days with pin curls for a bounce and longevity. Strangely my hair is in better condition than when I was younger and washed it every other day and left it ‘natural’.
