  • Love, love, love Penelope Chilvers’ shoes and boots. They are worth every penny. I have the Incredible boots in grey felt and I look forward to wearing them each Winter…

  • Love these! Ordered them in brown/slate with red laces!

  • Adore these, covet these and yet living in South Florida even I can’t get a good rationalization going for buying them. Any suggestions welcome.

  • These are great! Just purchased in grey although I love the brown with red laces. White gorgeous too! Thank you Preston!

  • I have these in the grey/brown colour and worn them so much last winter. They are both cosy and stylish. A great investment.

  • I love them. I have a weakness for red laces and have a pair of black Prada lace up boots with red shoelaces. I can’t see on the site if these are waterproof? Does anyone know?

  • The bottom is a lug sole, which saved me on NYC streets last winter. I wouldn’t wear them in the rain or in deep slush.

  • I have am a straight size 9.5 – in virtually everything. I have bought these in both 39 and 40 in the past, but my black pair needs to be replaced. Given reviews online, they appear to run a bit small – does anyone/everyone size up if they typically wear a half size. I will not be wearing a thick sock, but rather a lightweight merino version. Thanks!

  • I adore these boots and ordered both the black and the grey last year when you posted them. They were perfect for the cold New York winter but I agree that they shouldn’t be worn in slush or rain. Now I’m considering getting the white too! Thanks for posting these again this year.

  • Tabitha,
I am a 7.5 and wear very thick socks with size 38. I think they run a tad large and give.

  • Oh…you are tempting me! Love my black and “gintonic” pairs from last year – thanks to you!!! Do I really need a third pair?? I am a 38.5 and wear the 39. I wear a thicker smartwool sock with them.

  • Just bought the black and love them, but I’m wondering why you think they shouldn’t be worn in slush or rain. I can see that they are not Wellies or the like, and thus not suitable for any sort of monsoon, but a little shower or a bit of snow? Hmmmmmm…….

  • Tabitha – I am a 9.5 and bought these in a 40 and they are perfect.

  • I am usually 38.5 and sized up to 39. They are perfect! Love everything about these boots. I wear thick socks with them.

  • I ordered them in gin tonic and I love them. So cozy and cute. Thanks P!
