Spring Campaigns

The Valentino team went on location in Kenya for their SS16 campaign; fitting since the collection was inspired by Africa. The images are beautiful.

Jurgen Teller’s pics for Céline are fun cutouts; I need to revisit the collection images.

A lovely final collection by Raf Simons for Dior.

This is my favorite look from the Chloé SS16 collection–navy with white topstitching is right up my alley. I’d wear the top with jeans and sandals.

Funny, I know exactly where the Bottega Veneta SS16 campaign was shot—perfect location for the clothes.

I could never do a full Gucci look, but the shoes and belts I bought this fall are staples in my current uniform.

A tiara is not on my spring list, but I do know that despite the ads, I always find cannot-live-without items from Saint Laurent.

The Givenchy SS16 show was a tour de force and will be the inspiration for many of my spring looks, especially evening.

I loved the Prada FW15 collection and will pop in this weekend to check out SS16—the campaign images are super chic.

These are colors that I don’t normally wear, but in Karl’s hands for Chanel, I’d reconsider. The lavender skirt is really lovely.

Sad that Alexander Wang’s final collection for Balenciaga was his best.

And finally, Daria Werbowy photographed Kate Moss for Equipment’s Spring ads—Kate looks great.

  • When I saw the title of the post I thought for sure the scroll down would include a Balmain SS16 pic. While I suspect the house is not your style (nor mine), from Kardashians to Supers seems noteworthy, no?

  • Is that Gemma Ward in the Prada campaign? If so, it is great to have her back – she is simply lovely.

  • It’s Sasha Pivovarova. Natalia Vodianova is in the campaign, as well.

  • I love the silver Chanel sandals.

  • I love the recap, I feel like I don’t even need to read magazines anymore haha 🙂
My favorites are Givenchy and surprisingly, Chanel… The Chloé look is beautiful, but I’m a bit underwhelmed by Céline !

  • Preston, I appreciate your edit here. Wondering if anyone else sees a little Gucci (Tom Ford era) in the Chloe campaign? The Chanel looks are feeling fresh to me as pastels would be a new direction and I think I’m ready!
