  • Love it – classic and timeless. Investment dressing at its best.

  • It’s beautiful. I have my daughter’s wedding in November and I’m already a teeny bit stressed as to what I will be wearing. Understated elegance like this is always appreciated.

  • This is a gorgeous dress – black lace, skirt, waisted, feminine . . . all of the traits I love. Nothing beats a party dress!

For a Spring black tie event, have you considered wearing black and white, in beautiful fabrics. Short sleeves or sleeveless, perhaps with a cut-away skirt? I have such a dress, from the very refined but now tragically closed Lida Baday, who’s influences were French. Understated, fabulous fabrics, finished with superb quality and workmanship. She wasn’t a big name as far as advertising goes, but this woman was a gifted designer and understood quality. For a November wedding, what about something along the lines of the dress featured here? Never part with great evening wear.

  • Gorgeous dress! What is she wearing on her feet? Look like lace socks.
    They’re wonderful.

  • Paula: I’m with you. I, too, mourn the loss of Lida Baday.
