The Bomber

The jacket of the moment is a bomber. I like these three, they’d go with everything and stand the test of time. A bomber ups an everyday uniform’s cool factor.

  • Love the Bomber jacket! ! It’s a must! Glad you posted it! My only surprise is that you didn’t show it styled.
This piece has been a staple for a couple years, but is more main stream currently. You definitely need to show your readers how to style it!

If you need help- I would love to show you my favorite looks with the piece that can seem intimidating or to masculine for some.

  • My red Gucci loafers prove I usually love your recommendations but this one, I don’t get. I guess I’d like to see it styled as others have suggested because to me, they look the opposite of chic.

  • There is a link to the New York Times showing the bomber in action. If you can’t access the article, LMK.

  • Fifteen (!) years ago I saw a fashionable woman in Germany with a brown suede bomber jacket on over a blouse and maxi skirt. The jacket was a tad large and the bottom band scooped down in the back. She looked SO chic! Ever since then I’ve looked for a women’s bomber jacket to fit like hers. I’m so happy the bomber is back! It’ll make my search so much easier. Thank you for posting!

  • We used to buy these in the army surplus stores when I was in high school! I fee they still look young and cool!
