Casual Dress

I’m on the hunt for a spring dress. Boho, prints, stripes, and denim—there are many trends to love this season.

Miu Miu sleeveless denim, Dolce & Gabbana stripes, Étoile Isabel Marant boho print, Saint Laurent polka-dot, Étoile Isabel Marant denim, Etro floral-print.

  • All nice, but I love the Dolce and Gabbana striped dress – transports me to another time or something.

  • The ETRO dress looks amazing on the model; of course it’s the most expensive one…

  • I have found that denim is rarely flattering next to the face. It doesn’t matter if it is dark, faded, expensive designer label, or cheap – unless denim fabric is fashioned into cute fitting jeans or a classic western style jeans jacket – it simply makes a woman look fatigued and dated. Stripes, dots, florals, yes!

  • The SL is more….and doesn’t look it. The ETRO prints this year are gorgeous.

  • Hand to god, I woke up this morning with the same thought! A photo of Susanna Lau in a gorgeous dress over jeans (at the couture shows) has been in my head so thank you for more options.

  • I’m not a big fan of dresses, but I love some of the ones you’ve selected, like the Marant denim one, so cool !
