Good choice! Enough length and a proper wrap so no awkward flashing! Love it.
I agree. Swapping out the belt makes this skirt much more interesting!
This was one of those (pretty frequent, actually) times when I saw something here and *immediately* clicked on it and bought it. Great find! (And I spent at least an hour scrolling through NAP yesterday and was not inspired by anything.)
This skirt is super cute. Do you know if the belt attached, or easily substituted?
The skirt is coming tomorrow, I’ll let you know.
Really cute – was curious if the belt was attached as well.
I would love to see photos of this worn and styled by chic, modern young women – my youthful memories of denim skirts (A-line, wrap, midi, fringed, flared, mini) trigger panic!
Bought it, love it, keeping it. Note that it is a true wrap skirt (it wraps around the back, though, so no issues with it falling open when you sit) — so the tie belt is attached and is needed to keep the skirt on your body. Can’t swap it out, and you have to wear your tee tucked in at least in front because otherwise the tie creates an unflattering bulge under your shirt. All that said – it’s very cute and versatile.
I wore this skirt all through high school in the late ’60s. It’s an exact clone. I think I had one in the late ’70s as well. It is a classic!
Mine is arriving tomorrow. Thank you for the recommendation. Just wondering how it’s working out for you, Preston, and others.
I wanted to be able to wear it with a belt, not always as a wrap. So, not sure. It runs large.
