Whipstitched

Here’s another it’s-all-in-the-details post—the whipstitching on the bag and the blanket stitching on the sandals take both items up a notch.

  • I love whipstitching – such a beautiful detail.

  • I’m a big fan of Bottega Veneta and fell in love with these sandals but when I tried them on was surprised to find the sole made from a thin piece of rubber…less than a standard flip flop. The detailing on the upper leather straps is beautiful though. Sadly, there are several flat sandals in the spring collection that are gorgeous but have the same sole. I hope they return to the standard leather construction they’ve used in the past.

The color and whipstitching on the Chloe bag are beautiful!

  • I don’t mind the rubber sole, it’s modern.

  • I agree about the rubber sole – more modern and also more comfortable.
