On My Mind

#beigeobsession

Thanks to this pic from Vogue Paris fashion director Suzanne Koller’s Instagram feed, I have these Vivienne Westwood Pirate boots on the brain. Westwood first showed the boots in her 1981 collection and only produced them for that season. Fast forward to the famous Corinne Day image of Kate Moss wearing her own vintage pair in a story for the December 2000 issue of British Vogue—the Pirate boots were reissued and have been available ever since.

  • I’ve always wanted a pair, but worry that there are too many buckles (being a bit lazy about that stuff.)

Do you know if there’re are any stores where they can be tried on in NY or LA?
