Cherry Red

A few months ago, I posted on the Gucci slide in burgundy and my friend Mary has been searching for a pair ever since (to no avail). Maybe she’ll like them in bright red for summer.

  • I do hope they have the burgundy for the fall. I like red shoes…on other people.

  • I am with Kathy – love red shoes on other people…especially Dorothy in Oz. I really want those burgundy!

  • Oh yes!!! Count me in – there is nothing so happy as wearing red shoes, especially gorgeous Italian shade of red such as this. Flashback to the 70’s –my sisters and I were blessed to wear butter-soft Bandolinos–an Italian flat with woven vamp, entirely leather made with 1/4″ wood heel. We had them in an array of colors, including red! As a cheerleader (unapologetic), we wore black Bandolinos in a loafer style. Yes, life was good! And this was a middle class life ~

  • For summer, I would definitely choose the red over burgundy. Such a nice shoe to have in a fun color.

  • I’m going to wait to see if the burgundy comes out for fall….red is o.k. but made for summer. A buyer friend at Neimans is waiting also!!
