  • Are you in one of the photos above? Beautiful.

    KathyJune 27th, 2016  7:59 AM

  • Yep, that’s my back in #3…

    PrestonJune 27th, 2016  8:00 AM

  • I love the whole story. The clothes are beautiful and timeless.

    AprilJune 27th, 2016  9:18 AM

  • Love Carolyn Murphy! Other than tweaking the accessories, I would still love all these outfits. Narciso Rodriguez still makes gorgeous sheaths.

    kimJune 27th, 2016  9:21 AM

  • I would wear all of those clothes now. Love it.

    LilahJune 27th, 2016  9:26 AM

  • What a beautifully styled editorial. Every outfit is timeless. As much as I love artfully styled stories, I’m so much more inspired by wearable looks like these. Carolyn Murphy is stunning as always.

  • Agree I would wear all the clothes above, now!

    ameeJune 27th, 2016  11:09 AM

  • I would wear every single thing here. So beautiful. Thank you for posting. I was so sorry to read about Bill Cunningham.

  • You are absolutely correct…TIMELESS.I have always thought Carolyn is so beautiful with no effort. Ahhh, RIP Bill. I was sad to read of his passing. I enjoyed the documentary on him from a few years ago. He brought fashion to so many of us who don’t get to see it on a daily basis.

  • Fantastic editorial. RIP to Bill Cunningham, who was one of the greats in every way.

    C.MicholJune 27th, 2016  1:13 PM

  • Sad news about Bill. I used this story as inspiration when I was a fashion editor!

    That's Not My AgeJune 27th, 2016  2:22 PM

  • I am amazed by the timeless of the clothes and styling. I would wear them all today!

    MMSJune 27th, 2016  3:38 PM

  • I remember that story fondly. Still love the looks. However, I died inside a little comparing prices. Prada pumps were $525 fourteen years ago. Oh, to dream…

    NikJune 27th, 2016  6:51 PM

  • I love every look! Carolyn Murphy is among my favorite models. Mr. Cunningham seems a charming man and made a positive contribution to fashion journalism.

  • End of an era in fashion with the passing of the iconic NY photographer, Bill Cunningham. There was an interesting documentary on his work and eccentric life that came out a couple years ago. I know the people who enjoy KIC will be interested to see it. Patrick Demarchelier’s own body of work is impressive and this story is but one example. Fun for you, Preston, to get to be part of it all!

    KWJune 28th, 2016  7:15 AM

  • The documentary is fab. I posted on it ages ago, but the link kept breaking so I took it down. It’s out there.

    PrestonJune 28th, 2016  7:27 AM

  • Timeless indeed…it was 2002 but it looks 2016!!
    So great!!Bill will be missed!!

    LourdesJune 28th, 2016  9:38 AM

  • Fun to see a story from 2002. It’s really great!!

    MarcyJune 28th, 2016  10:14 AM

  • I would wear all of those now… Including the accessories! Those narcisco Rodriguez shoes in the last photo would definitely work in 2016

    LauraJune 28th, 2016  8:24 PM

  • Ah I spotted you Preston! How did I miss this when it came out? Agree – timeless!

    disneyrollergirlJune 29th, 2016  7:45 AM

  • And what a lovely back of the head you have lol! I swear I remember some of these shots…it’s crazy how in #5 the assistant and Carolyn are wearing such contemporary shapes.
I’m not sure we truly understand the void that will be felt at the loss of Bill Cunningham.

    SueMJune 29th, 2016  10:28 AM

  • Still my all-time favorite Bazaar fashion story. RIP, Bill.
