Loafer Love

I spied this version of the Gucci mid-heel loafer on the runway in February and immediately posted on it—the horsebit with the kiltie is a great combo.

Black and here & white and here.

  • So chic and so comfortable. I bought the black but missed out on the tan. Thinking of buying the red ones now.

  • The black suede is the most comfortable shoe, want to add the white and really love the red suede also.

  • I adore loafers in all shapes. I have a black suede Gucci platform loafer from Tom Ford’s early collections for Gucci which are fabulous but, sadly, I can no longer wear.

  • So great with the horsebit, which I prefer over the double G. Do they come in brown?

  • This type of loafer is my great love and it just cries out for tweed. I wish someone would do a great tweed suit. Also I would love this loafer in burgundy.

  • Love these! And I agree with the other commenters that they’d be even better in a brown or a burgundy. Much prefer the horsebit, it’s more subtle.

  • So many great choices, Preston! I’m back and forth between the marmont in black suede and the Polly in black. I have the Princeton slide in black leather, so I’m leaning towards the suede. Would love to be persuaded one way or the other! Yes, I do prefer the more understated horse bit, too.

  • Still haven’t bought a pair – faffing a bit because I am only buying one pair and so it has to be the right decision!
