‘Bowls Are the New Plates’

Last January, I saved this story, ‘Bowls Are the New Plates’, from The Wall Street Journal. As we head deeper into fall and colder weather, the idea of tucking into a meal in a bowl sounds downright cozy.

  • We’ve been eating from large bowls for years. It’s so cozy. And it’s great for large buffets, much easier for people to move around with than a plate.

  • I entirely agree with this- I find myself gravitating towards a bowl rather than a plate- easier for eating in less conventional places too.
