Issue #6

Cabana x Schumacher

Cabana Magazine

For the sixth issue, Cabana magazine collaborated with famed fabric house Schumacher. Each copy features a stunning Schumacher fabric on the cover and there are nine versions to choose from. I will cherish the one they sent me, above.

Most of the stories in this issue are part of a Russian portfolio, however, my favorite spread is of Tillypronie, a remote country estate in the Aberdeenshire Hills of Scotland—I love that the house looks lived-in.

The Cabana x Schumacher collaboration issue will be available at 1stdibs, and on U.S. newsstands November 12.

  • All of these images are soft, beautiful, Old World beautiful! This is where my aesthetic lies, and the one you received, above, is stunning. It’s easy to get distracted in the enormous quantity of stuff and images – clarifying, editing out, that’s the trick.

  • . . . forgot to mention – how about those rooftops? Excellence occurs in the details. We are surrounded by shlock, so this is really a joy!!

  • Wow! So English- the bathroom wallpaper- the drapes-bed head-
The trees remind me of my holidays in Wales.
The combination of fabric colours from C&S-timeless and versatile.or is that versatile because the colour blend is timeless…!

  • I LOVE these interiors – real. So tired of generic neutrals, rooms looking so staged and empty of life in most magazines. This is very inspiring…
