Must-See Exhibitions

We are having sensational fall weather, which makes museum-going so much fun. There are three exhibitions I’m excited to see this week: Agnes Martin at the Guggenheim, Kerry James Marshall: Mastery at The Met Breuer, and Charlotte Brontë : An Independent Will at the The Morgan Library & Museum.

On a side note, the Morgan Library has a fantastic gift shop.

  • Saw and loved the Agnes show when it was in LA — it’s extraordinary — and I’m so jealous you get to see the Kerry James Marshall exhibit!

  • I saw the Bronte exhibition by accident as my friend took me to the Morgan to see the Rembrandt painting on its last day. Both were excellent and I was blown away with what a hidden gem the Morgan is. NYC has such cultural riches

  • Managed to miss the Agnes Martin show while it was here (how, I still don’t know) but hope it’s still there when I come to New York. Would love to see the others as well. There’s something about going to museums in other cities that seems more appealing to me it seems. I miss way too much in LA.

  • Oh, I loved the Kerry James Marshall show. It was so powerful and moving. And he uses glitter!.

  • Oh, nice one. Thanks for the tip-off. Looking forward to seeing these when I’m in New York!
