Navy Crazy

It started with a navy puffer– and then, like Alice tumbling into the rabbit hole, I bought a few navy sweaters, new jeans, a dark navy Tomas Maier skirt, a navy Atlantique Ascoli blouse, and these midnight-blue Joseph pants that are a nice weight and a good price. Paired with my Gucci pumps and AA blouses, this is my dressier run-around uniform. Currently, I’m really into wearing navy and black together à la YSL.

  • Lovely! I live in navy and I’m sure you’ll get lots of wear out of all of these. My brother is getting married again and I have been looking for a suitable something to wear. I keep looking at prints and brights but deep in my heart I know I will buy something in navy. 🙂

  • Love this post! Your dressier running around outfit has given me wardrobe envy. The thing about navy is that it is not always available (well not where I live) so when I see navy I tend to buy it.

  • Wow….did this post hit a chord! Funny, I went navy crazy this year too! I also went down the slippery slope….I have bought 2 navy sweaters, a navy Moncler winter puffer with peplum, a denim blue velvet blazer, denim blue Aquazurra velvet booties, new jeans and navy suede boots, as well as navy velvet AG kick flares. I am really loving the blue instead of my usual black. Next, a purse. Love the Marni shirt…it is a stunner. I haven’t tried navy and black yet…you have all inspired me to do that this week.

  • Just finished a Masters in fashion curation in which a strong emphasis was based on the superiority and inherent chicness of navy. I have more navy items in my wardrobe than is decent. I love it.
