Coat Crazy

It’s no secret that I’m a complete and utter coat nut, always have been. In college, a psychic told my husband that he would marry a woman with closets stuffed with coats. A Bel Air native, he was disbelieving until he met me.

While loading product into the kic shop this morning, I spied this amazing Gucci coat- hey, my Christmas shopping is done, I just need to buy tape so I can finish wrapping.

Coat, sunglasses, jeans.

  • Once upon a time I read somewhere that Marie Antoinette had 365 coats delivered to her during the period of her incarceration in the Bastille-like Temple, following the abolition of the monarchy, that marked the terminal point of her sojourn in the Tuileries.

  • I wouldn’t mind finding that coat under the tree Christmas morning. It’s been cold enough in LA that I’ve worn a coat daily! I wish you and your family the happiest of holidays and New Year’s….and thank you for your truly fabulous blog. xo
