March = spring break and this year we are doing college tours. I’ve already booked a hotel in Boston for the first leg of the trip and we will stay with family for the second leg.
Before we get on the road, I’m eager to see the Julian Schnabel exhibition at Pace Gallery, which features paintings of the garden at Auvers-sur-oise, France. The two books that I’ll tuck into my suitcase are Joan Didion’s “South and West: From a Notebook” and “The Drifter” by my onetime Harper’s Bazaar colleague, Christine Lennon. And to try some new recipes–my husband made this cod casserole last night–it was unusual and delicious.
