  • It is nice to see a La Double J dress on a petite frame. I have loved watching the brand grow but typically see pieces suited for taller women. Love this dress!!

  • She looks great, but for me it would never work. Which brings me to this quandary – I’m not finding tops for the Spring/Summer to wear. I’m tired of Boho, tunics, huge ruffles, etc. and also don’t want to spend upwards of $500 on an everyday top to put on with jeans. Ideas?

  • I hear you Kathy. I have a few boho tops (peer pressure!), but on my slim, non-busty frame, it looks like I’m playing dress up in my mommy’s old ’70’s wardrobe. Have you looked at more upscale athletic lines, like Carbon 38? I found some things that work with jeans there, which are also great for travel. I’m also intrigued by TheRealReal.com. Quality high, easy to see fit in photos, returns allowed, prices more realistic.

  • Hi Kathy,
There is a new line out of London called Livotte that has transformed the silk blouse into a easy to wear and chic organic cotton jersey top. There are several styles and you are sure to find one to suit your mood this season. Find them on www.livotte.com and free global shipping is available.

  • I agree, interesting tops are a tough find these days. Boho, striped tees, and button-downs are a dime-a-dozen. I’ll be on the lookout for something fresh.
