Bastide

Frederic Fekkai and his wife Shirin von Wulffen not only purchased and restored a beautiful home in Aix-en-Provence, the French beauty guru’s hometown, the couple also bought and relaunched the Provencal beauty line Cote Bastide. Now simply Bastide, the products, which are free of parabens, phthalates, sulfates, and silicone, are made locally with ingredients sourced solely from the region. At a breakfast yesterday in Tribeca, the intoxicating fragrances, olive-oil soaps, vegetable-wax candles in blown-glass jars, creams, and crystals were on display—the packaging is beautiful, too.

  • I remember Cote Bastide!! I can’t wait to try it again.

I definitely remember the photos from their wedding. Ms. von Wulffen was among the most beautiful brides I’ve ever seen, and the wedding had that rare element, charm!
